From detecting the warping of spacetime caused by elusive dark matter, to helping in the hunt for earth-like planets, astronomers from all over the world are turning to AI to reach for the next biggest discoveries. Ashley Spindler is an astronomer and AI researcher, working on new technologies for identifying the wide and varied histories of the billions of galaxies that make up our Universe. She is also an advocate for queer people in STEM, an avid powerlifter, and a soon-to-be-published fantasy author.
