At the Department of Soil and Environment we study different aspects of soil and land use, both in agricultural landscapes, forests and urban areas. At the World Soil Day, you will get the opportunity to hear about the most recent soil research activities from both our young and senior researchers.
The programme includes interesting talks on soil nutrients, water management in agricultural soils, the threat of soil compaction to our food supply, and much more. You will get the chance to engage in discussions and get a better understanding of how soils can be part of the solution to pressing challenges currently facing humankind.
The event will be held in English, but with the possibility to ask questions in Swedish.
